A hands-on series of workshops on how to garden whilst being environmentally aware and how to get the most out of your garden in a sustainable way. The workshops will take place over four Tuesdays in February.
Led by our brilliant eco-gardener in residence, Polly Rowley-Sams participants will learn about different planting techniques and explore ways to be more ecologically responsible too.
This course is a follow-up course to a course that ran in late 2020, but all gardeners and green fingered levels of experience are welcome. Everything we learn can be used in any type of garden or green space, big or small and even window boxes!
Email Rachel at cultureconnects@dublincitycouncilculturecompany.ie or call 01 524 0391 to book your place.
Places are limited, so early booking is advised. Please note, the workshops will take place in the Richmond Barracks Garden. As this is an outdoor activity please dress appropriately and bring all weather apparel when needed.
Culture Connects is a year-round programme that invites people in Dublin to try out new things. We offer ways for people to make and create together, to share ideas and connect through culture and conversation.
Our workshops cover a wide range of cultural activities from home growing to history, painting to poetry, dancing to drawing and so much more. We design sessions so that you can join one workshop or come for several, depending on your preference. Please keep an eye on our website or sign up to our newsletter for regular updates.
