Children’s History Workshop: Ancient Animals of Ireland

Join Dublin’s Historian-in-Residence for Children Dervilia Roche for this free, interactive Zoom workshop for children aged 9 – 12.

Learn about the different animals that have inhabited Ireland since prehistoric times, and Ireland’s connection to dinosaurs. Discover when different species were introduced to the island and why, and explore the folklore and traditions associated with different animals.
