Richmond Barracks

Children’s Workshop: Roth na Bliana | Circle of the Year

Join Dublin’s Historian-in-Residence for Children Dervilia Roche and Richmond Barracks eco-gardener in residence Polly Rowley-Sams for this free, interactive workshop for children aged 9 – 12 at Richmond Barracks.

Explore the history of the winter solstice, learn about other dates in the old Irish calendar, and create a special version of a Christmas wreath that represents the cycle of the year.

Visiting safely
